and the wedding date had been set.......February 1,2013
Paul and I were so excited that we could make the trip only for 72 hours. We both knew that this was an occasion that just could not be missed, no matter the cost.
The flight out there was a nightmare, after getting transferred back and forth between four different airlines, lots of tears and nine different boarding passes we made it!!
My mom did such an amazing job at preparing for their wedding dinner the
night before. I so wish that i was able to be there to help out. I was
so impressed it turned out beautiful!
The wedding dinner was catered by EATsimply
We had brick oven pizza, salad, delicious desserts and Italian sodas!
They did AWESOME and the food was AMAZING!!
Wedding Day!! This was such a special day to me. It was a blessing to sit in the sealing room with my husband, mom, dad, Trace, Katelin and Zach. I can't even wait for the day that Josh will be in that room with us. This day was such a great reminder as to what is really important in life. As i looked around the room my eyes filled with tears seeing so many loved ones here in the temple with me and can't wait to one day see those same faces in heaven for eternity. Then as Trace escorted his sweet Fiance' into the room my heart seemed to burst and so did my tear ducts. It wasn't a sad moment for me, but a proud moment. I have developed a love for my three younger brothers, the only thing i can think to compare it to is how a mother feels about her children. I was proud for the example he was setting for Zach(sitting to my left) and Josh. I was proud for the decisions that he has made in his life to get him to that point. Watching him go through some hard times growing up and the challenges he had to face. It made me realize all he had done to be walking towards the altar with Katelin. I am so grateful for the best friend he has been to me for his entire life.
Hugs before the happy couple leave for their Honeymoon!
